QFT Brand Identity
Rinky worked with QFT to create a fresh visual and brand identity for the cinema, positioning it as the home of independent cinema in Northern Ireland.
Our brand idea is centred around QFT’s core values as a singular home for independent cinema in NI, a haven for film lovers and a social space for experiences beyond the feature’s runtime.
The visual identity celebrates the venue’s unique location and building, elevating its sedate exterior by adopting the deceptively residential doorway as both a welcoming symbol of inclusivity, and as a portal leading you to myriad other worlds and transformative experiences.
The door is also an integral part of a new, dynamic and responsive QFT lettermark. Informed by the cinema’s typographic heritage, the mark preserves the venue’s history, while confidently presenting it as a forward-thinking cultural venue and accessible, welcoming space. A flexible graphic system allows for a broad range of outcomes reflecting a diverse programme and audience.
